Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can Juniors participate in AARUS?
A: Juniors (aged 12–18 on a Minor’s Target Pistol or Minors Longarms Permit) do not need an AARUS subscription. Provided they are financial members of an approved shooting club, they can shoot free of charge when accompanied by a parent or guardian who holds an active AARUS subscription. Minors must still be signed in manually upon arrival.
Q: Can interstate shooters apply?
A: Yes. Interstate shooters are welcome to subscribe provided they meet standard home club affiliation, peak body capitation, and firearms licensing requirements.
Q: Is this an Associate Membership?
A: No. This is strictly a facility use subscription, not a voting or voting-class club membership. It provides simplified range access while allowing you to maintain your primary allegiance to your home club.
Q: How do renewals work?
A: Subscription renewal invoices are emailed via MYOB annually in October ahead of the November 1 start date. Fees are reviewed annually by the club executive.

Q: Are there extra hidden fees?
A: Simply we are not here to be deceitful, this is to allow streamlined use of the ranges not to have you hitting hurdles at every step. target patches are not included and SSAA attendance slips are not included and are not for anyone at the club.
