Range Information

General range information for all users

While we appreciate that people want to share their shooting experiences with others, Newtec does not allow in any form photos or video to be taken on ranges, this is for safety and security of all participants. We ask all range users respect this as there is a Zero Tolerance for breaches of this rule, persons will be expelled immediate if found to be breaking the rule.

1 x 10 metre Air pistol Range,

2 x 50 metre Range (pistol calibre only per approval),

Visitors: MAX .22 Rimfire AMMUNITION RIFLES ONLY.

(NO MAGNUM AMMUNITION PERMITTED)

5 x 25 metre Ranges

2 x 25 metre Single Action Ranges

Rimfire up to .22 cal
Centre Fire (Max .38) (Popular Pistol Calibres only)
Black Powder Pistols
Centrefire Rifles/calibres are NOT PERMITTED
.45 Cal Pistols are not permitted on ranges 1-8 and only used for single action matches at Newtec. Use of this calibre is strictly for specific disciplines and not for general use eg service, ISSF, IPSC.

Ranges are closed until 1pm, this includes SSAA Attendances.

COMMITTEE MEETING

Second Saturday of EVERY MONTH

Held in the clubhouse and is closed to visitors.

Members are welcome to attend general sessions but will not be permitted when sensitive/sensitive personal matters are discussed per privacy obligations.

NEWTEC DOES NOT OFFER 'TRY SHOOTING' EXPERIENCES OR ANY P650 TO PERSONS THAT ARE NOT A MEMBER OF THE CLUB. THIS IS A FIRM CLUB POSITION AND WE ASK YOU TRY OTHER CLUBS FOR THIS EXPERIENCE.
