CONGRATULATIONS, on deciding to take up Pistol shooting.
Shooting in general is a great challenging sport to get into that the family can get involved in that is not too affected by the weather. Now you have taken the first step, the second step is to complete an application form and return it to the club so we can start the process of getting you shooting. We will be honest with you that getting a Full Pistol licence is not a speedy process it can take in excess of 13 Months with waiting times. New Members will be supported through the process, but you must be committed to putting in the time to complete all the requirements as we will not hold your hand.
Please make sure that you read the NSW Firearms Registry website, so you are clear on what they expect from firearms licence holder. If you choose not to read the registry site you are solely responsible for any trouble you get yourself into with the registry or the club.

Completed application forms can be returned.
- in person
- by mail

Newtec Charges a joining fee and annual membership in the first year, we do not charge for a Pistol Safe Handling course, and we do not take a cent until you are a signed probationary member.
Newtec is committed to supporting the sport and we will be honest and upfront with you.
NEWTEC Pistol Club reserves the right to refuse/cancel applications at its discretion.
